Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), Article 6 Disclosure
The Fund is an Article 6 Fund. As such, the AIFM makes no firm commitment that any SFDR related factors will be taken into consideration regarding the Fund's investment mandate. However, on a voluntary basis, the AIFM and the Fund will pay attention to reputational considerations as well as other factors relating to the companies, countries and strategies into which the Fund invests.
The AIFM has elected for the time being not to consider the principal adverse impacts of investment decisions taken on behalf of the Fund on sustainability factors in the manner contemplated by Article 4(1)(b) of the SFDR. This is based on the nature of the Fund and the fact that the information reported by investee companies is currently insufficient to describe the principal adverse impacts as required by SFDR and the Regulatory Technical Standards (RTS).
The potential impacts arising from a sustainability risk could be numerous and may vary depending on the asset class and specific risks therein. The AIFM has assessed some but possibly not all of the potential impacts of sustainability risks on the returns of the Fund, and considers that sustainability risks may not have a material impact on returns of the Fund, given the investment approach taken on behalf of the Fund. However, to the extent that the AIFM is incorrect in its evaluation of the sustainability risks applicable to a particular investment, or an investment of the Fund experiences a sustainability-related event or condition that was not considered by the AIFM, this could negatively impact the returns of the Fund.
